In the 1910 U.S. Census he was married to Cala Helsley, they had a six month old daughter Lorine E. and were living in Duarte. His wife, Cala, died 1919. In 1930 Census he is living in Township 9, Kern County, CA, with his two children Lorine (or Loraine b. @1910,age 20) and Gerald (b. @1913, age 17).
