Mabel M Patterson was the oldest daughter of Baley and Lizzie Patterson. According to census records, she lived in Forbes, Holt, Missouri around the age of 5. Census records indicate she had a brother Bruce, and two sisters, Leta and Pearl. By the time she was 15 her family had moved to Jackson, Andrew County, Missouri which is where her future husband, Carol Borchers was living. The two were married on April 19, 1917. This union would not produce any children. She died in August of 1978 and is buried next to her husband in Savannah Cemetery.
