Ulysses G. Abrams, 91, of Milroy died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at his residence.

Born Feb. 2, 1916 in Clover Bottom, Ky., he was the son of Solmon and Susan (Robinson) Abrams, both deceased. He married Catherine Marie Stanley Aug. 8, 1942; she preceded him in death Aug. 18, 1998.

Mr. Abrams owned Abrams Farms of Milroy and was retired.

Survivors include four sons, Gene Abrams (and wife Lillie) of Vevey, Thomas A. Abrams (and wife Lisa) and John R. Abrams (and wife Barbara), both of Milroy, and Steve Gilmoure of Pennsylvania; and one sister, Mary Sizemore of Clark Range, Tenn.

Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by four children, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy with the Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will follow in Milroy's East Brook Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Southeastern Indiana c/o the funeral home.
