Winfred J. Howell

HOWELL, Winfred J., 92, of New Martinsville, W.Va., died March 14, 2005, at home.

He was born August 19, 1912 in Wetzel County, the son of the late Winfield Howell and Berth Brock Howell.
He was a supervisor at Hope Gas Company and a member of the First Church of God, New Martinsville, WV.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel F. Mason Howell in 1999 and three sisters.

Survivors are four sons, Bill G. (Carolyn) Howell, Gary W. (Ellen), Benny L (Aleatha), T. Ardell (Marie), all of New Martinsville; a daughter, Patsy (David) Bee, Mineral Wells, WV; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren.

Friends received from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Iams Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday March 17, 2005 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Russ Whitener officiating. Interment in Paden City Memorial Gardens, Paden City.
