Major League Baseball Player. An outfielder for the Chicago Cubs from 1912 to 1917 and for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1918 to 1930, he was one of the preeminent home run hitters of the 1920s, leading the National League in Home Runs 4 times. His 217 home runs hit while with the Phillies still ranks as 9th on the team's All-Time Career Home Run list.
