She was born in Lewis County and reared in Perry County, the daughter of Paige Janette Bell Qualls of Lawrenceburg and the late Dock Wiley Qualls.
She was a graduate of Perry County High School and the University of Tennessee.
In 1977 she married Alan Eugene Gray who preceded her in death November 10, 2000.
Mrs. Gray was Branch Sales Manager at Bankers Life and Casualty. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Nashville.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Joan Gray of Franklin; a son, Samuel Alexander Gray of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Jane Qualls (Kenney) Morton of Hohenwald; one brother, Wiley Wayne (Gina) Qualls of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Doug Gray, Tom Kittrell, Dale DeMoss, Kenney Morton, Mike Hall and Stephen Dean.
