Simon Porter, 86 years old, died in a San Antonio hospital at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. He was a native of Russia and had been in San Antonio for the last 21 years. He came to America 35 years ago, settling in St. Louis, from which place he came to San Antonio. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A. Glasberg of San Antonio, and Mrs. Lena Wiesh of Karnes City, and four [error: 3] sons, O.H. Porter of Karnes City and Andy [error], Abe, and Harry of Chicago. The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Glasberg, 311 Nixon Street at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment will be made in the cemetery of the Congregation of Agudas Achim.
