Rock Musician. A guitarist, he was a member of the music group Blues Image. They are best known for the hit "Ride Captain Ride", which became a certified gold record and reached number 4 on The Billboard Pop Chart in 1970. Born Kent Henry Plischke, he began his career while a teenager when he joined the Monterey band The Lost Souls as their lead guitarist. In 1969, he garnered international recognition for his instrumental contributions on the album "Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends", which also featured artists Jimmy Page, Noel Redding, Jeff Beck and John Bonham. In addition, Henry was a member of Steppenwolf during the later part of the band's history. He recorded with them on the album "For Ladies Only" (1971), and participated on their world tour.
