" Eugene Bret, aged 79 years, died at home near Bonnots Mill, February 23, 1924.
"Mr. Bret was born in France and came to this country with is widowed mother when but about 7 years old, his father having died in France before the family left that country.
"About 49 years ago, Mr. Bret and Miss Amelia Boillot were united in marriage, from which union were born the following children, all living; Fred, Louis, Paul, Elmer, Jule, Eugene and William Bret, and Mrs. Ellen Vogel. The wife of the deceased died April 9, 1923. Deceased is also survived by a half-brother, Emil Vincent.
"After an appropriate funeral service conducted at the Catholic Church at Bonnots Mill by the pastor, Rev. John Schramm, February 25th, the deceased was buried in the cemetery near Bonnots Mill."
