KRESS - Services for Lois P. Bennett, 100, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Dane Sisemore officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bennett died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Plainview. She was born Oct. 3, 1908, in Swisher County. She married Will Bennett on Jan. 23, 1923, in Providence. He died Nov. 16, 1964. She was a housewife and worked for Losson's Restaurant in Kress and a restaurant in Claytonville. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Young of Kress, Chloe Ann Carley of Temple and Reba Freeman of Miami, Okla.; one son, Jimmy Bennett of Plainview; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, three brothers and three sisters are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Mu Lambda Sorority Cemetery Fund at Kress National Bank.
