Bessie Lee Bowling 70, of Rushville died April 18, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in Lincoln County, KY July 29, 1933 the daughter of Charlie Delbert & Mirty Ann Jacobs Thompson. She married Paul Muller OCT 4, 1952 and was divorced, he survives. She then married Phillip Ted Bowling AUG 12, 1971 and he survives. She attended the Kindom Hall and was an active bingo player.
Survivors include three sons Richard (wife Linda) Bowling; David Bowling both of Rushville & Jerry Bowling of Indianapolis; four daughters Mary (Mrs. Ronnie) Palmer, Jackie A. Adkins, Lavada (Mrs. Mark) Sons & Paula (Mrs. Scott) Kirk all of Rushville; Three brothers Albert, Huston & Butch Thompson; five sisters Martha Berry, Anna Mayse, Shirley Watts, Susie Thompson & Bonnie Foreman; 22 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren also survive.
Preceded in death by two sons Michael Muller & Timothy A Bowling, one daughter Teresa Farley.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM APR 21st at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service.
