Mrs. Broyles lived in Greenville until moving to Childress with her family in 1907. From there, they moved to Quanah in 1915 where her son graduated from high school. She then moved to Oklahoma and then moved to this area in 1931. For a time, she lived in Eldorado but moved to Quanah in 1938. Nearest of kin is a son, Ben O. Bottoms, an officer of First National Bank of Quanah, and a brother, T.C. Slemmons of Palo Pinto, a sister, Mrs. J.D. Barton of Amarillo, and two grandchildren.
