Mrs. Hartman, 80, of Rochester, died Tuesday (Feb. 3, 2009) at Saint Marys Hospital.
Naomi Simerman was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Ossian, Ind. She was the former owner of Hardware Hank in Rochester. Her husband, David Hartman, survives. He is a land developer, business owner and electrical engineer. Mrs. Hartman loved reading, spending time with her family, traveling, and her pets.
In addition to her husband she is survived by five children, Valerie Fletcher, Vicki Hartman, Karen Hasselquist, Clay Hartman and Clint Hartman, all of Rochester; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathi Babinski; a brother, Paul Simerman; and two sisters, Sarah Slaughter and Donna Krill.
Friends may call one hour before the service Friday at Macken Funeral Home.
