He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Bacon.
He was self employed in heating and air conditioning (Hodges Heating and Air Conditioning).
Services will be Friday, August 15, 1997, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
