Clifford Edwin Baise Sr., 73, of Mokane, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane.

He was born December 4, 1931, in Montgomery County, Mo., the son of the late Robert Cleveland and Myrtle Ellen (Hickman) Baise. He married Barbara June Garriott on Aug. 13, 1971. She preceded him in death on July 4, 1990.

He is survived by two sons, Eddie Baise and Kenneth Baise, of Fulton; two stepsons, Bruce Johnson, Columbia and Brad Snodgrass, Joplin; one stepdaughter, Fonda Call, Auxvasse; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m., at DEBO FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Montgomery County, to the late Robert Cleveland and Myrtle Ellen (Hickman) Baise. He married Barbara June Garriott on Aug. 13, 1971. She preceded him in death on July 4, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Baise and Kenneth Baise, of Fulton; two stepsons, Bruce Johnson of Columbia and Brad Snodgrass of Joplin; a stepdaughter, Fonda Call of Auxvasse; five grandchildren, Jesse Baise, Cory Baise, Kenda Baise, Kenneth Baise Jr., and Kathy Baise; six step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Mr. Baise worked in the maintenance department at Fulton State Hospital retiring in 1985. He had raised dairy goats. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
