She was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Quinlan, Okla., the daughter of Samuel C. and Clara E. Harper George. She attended school in Quinlan, Okla., and she moved to Topeka in 1956.
She married Robert E. Fountain on June 16, 1956, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Doris Silcott, Tucson, Ariz.; three sons, Donald Dean Nixon, Bumpass, Va., Lloyd Wayne Nixon, Topeka, and Dale Howard Nixon, Granada, Colo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fountain will lie in state after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the funeral home.
