Services for Mrs. Delores M. Thedford Halbert, 67, Tyler, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Sulen officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors.
Family visitation will be Sunday, 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Halbert died Dec. 29, 2008, in Smith County. She was born July 16, 1941, in Cherokee County to the late Herschel Thedford and Marie Reasoner Thedford. She has lived in Tyler since the early 1970s and was formerly of Huntsville. She was a graduate of Tyler Junior College and was a commercial artist. She attended Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler.
