Arthur E. Barrick, 62, of Greason, died Saturday night in Carlisle Hospital after an illness of one day.
A carpenter by trade, he was employed by Paul Hoover, the contractor. He was the son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Jones Barrick and a member of Center Lutheran Church and the Church of God Sunday School at Plainfield.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Geey [sic] Barrick; four sons, Kenneth, Plainfield; Roy, at home, and Dean and Oscar, of Greason; the following brothers and sisters, Clark, Carlisle R.D.1; Roy of Boiling Springs, Mrs. Mark Rolar, Newburg; Mrs. Roy Wolf and Mrs. Walter Hoover, Newville, and Frank Diehl Newville, R.D.3, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 from the Shulenberger Funeral Home, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
