Patsy Dunn, age 68 passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at her home in Oakville, Texas. Patsy was born to John T. and Nannie Sailors of Sikeston, Missouri on February 11, 1940. She moved to Corpus Christi with her family in 1947 and graduated from Tuloso Midway High School in 1947. Patsy married Eldridge J. Dunn and had five children. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. She was especially close to her six grandchildren and in her eyes they could do no wrong. Patsy loved to gamble and enjoyed trips to Coushatta with her companion and best friend Ed Hodges.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldridge; sons, Billy Jack and Jackie Dunn; her brothers, J.T. and James Sailors; and sisters, Winnie Prescott, Betty O'Daniels, Helen Swanson, and Pearl Cantrell.
Patsy is survived by her children, Robert (Kathy) Dunn, Johnny Dunn and Glenda (Billy) Clawson; her grandchildren, Matthew (Tammy), Stephen and Michelle Dunn, Crystal, Billy and Amber Clawson all of Corpus Christi, Texas; companion and best friend, Ed Hodges of Oakville, Texas; brother, Jackie Sailors; sister, Ruby Fischer; sister-in-law, Kathy Whited and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Seaside Funeral Home. With a Funeral Service held on Friday, August, 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park
