Mrs. Ainsworth is the wife of Mr Jack M. Ainsworth. She is one of seven children born to Cora Brugger Miller and Melvin Parley Miller. Surviving are one son and one daughter.

Irene Miller Ainsworth Our Bamie The "most beautiful woman in the world" passed away August 3, 2003 as she valiantly fought to regain her health following surgery. Our dear mother's heart, which had loved us with unswerving care through her eighty-nine years quietly stopped beating. Irene Miller Ainsworth returned with honor as a humble daughter and servant of her Heavenly Father. Irene, the third daughter of seven children, was born on September 29, 1913 in Murray, Utah to Melvin Parley Miller and Cora Brugger Miller. The family moved to Chester, Idaho where Irene had some of her most treasured memories with her loving family while living on the farm, riding to school in a horse-drawn sleigh, swimming in the Snake River and shadowing her beloved father. She learned about provident living and acquired an ethic of hard work that sustained her throughout her life. After the untimely death of her young father, her family returned to her mother's farm in Venice, Utah where she met Jack Marell Ainsworth. It was love at first sight when he saw her galloping her horse down the lane and she saw him driving his dapper Model "T" Ford. On February 27, 1932 they were married and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They were childhood sweethearts and together collaborated on an unending love affair spanning seventy-two years. He was her hero and she was his "darling girl". Raised in a devout home of pioneer heritage, she developed a deep child-like faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in every organization. She loved people, compassionately served and became everyone's confidant because of the warm understanding and empathy she always exuded. Irene's great hallmarks were her gift of listening with her heart, never correcting or judging and her enormous capacity to love and selflessly serve her family. She leaves a legacy of faith, hard work, selfless caring and gospel integrity. A bundle of energy with a passion for life, she enjoyed her prize-winning hydrangeas, her oil painting, current events, gourmet cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was an extraordinary combination of graciousness, beauty and genuine concern for others. Survived by husband Jack Marell Ainsworth; son Clark Ainsworth; daughter Jewel Doxey (Roger); sisters Melba Allred and Edith Shaban; granddaughters Holly Green (Michael), Downy Doxey-Marshall (Todd), Cecily Gregory (Jason), Heather Larsen (Clark), Laurel Ludwig (Ben); and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services held Friday, August 8, 2003, at 12 noon, at the Monument Park Eleventh Ward, 1565 Foothill Drive. Viewing one hour prior to service. Interment at the Elysian Burial Gardens.
