Mrs. Boyd was born in Gloucester County, England on April 27, 1935, a daughter of Harold Leslie and Winifred Weaver Jefferies, both deceased. She was a homemaker. For many years, she an active caregiver for the elderly. She loved to knit and make crafts for display. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Helen Boyd of Eden, Linda Biggs and husband Joe of Madison, Jacqueline Cox and husband Mike of Mayodan and Valerie Richardson and husband Charlie of Mayodan; her sons, Tim Boyd and wife Judy of Mayodan, Allen Boyd and wife Lisa of Madison and Lee Boyd of Eden; her two sisters and one brother in England; special friend, Arthur McBride of Bennetsville, SC and special caregiver, Bridget Olguin of eden; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
