Dolores M. Cogswell, 77, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 16, 2008.

A graveside service was held Nov. 19 at Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville.

She was born in Falls City to Sam and Thelma (Shadle) Morgan.

She moved with her family from Brownsville to Sweet Home in 1946.

Mrs. Cogswell attended the Assembly of God Church.

After retiring from Stayton Cannery, she received her CNA license and worked in nursing homes and as an in-home caregiver.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in law Rod and Linda Warren of Sweet Home; sisters Maxine Isabell of Sweet Home, Gertrude Lowden of North Bend, Esther Dietz of Sodaville and Joyce Greiner of Scio; and brothers Jim Morgan of Sodaville and Joe Morgan of Korea.

Her husband Jim Cogswell, sons Edward and Ricky Warren, and sisters Margaret Duncan and Bernice Reynolds died before she did.

Dolores M. Cogswell, 77, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday.

She was born in Falls City to Sam and Thelma (Shadle) Morgan.

She moved with her family to Sweet Home from Brownsville in 1946, where she lived most of her life. She attended the Assembly of God, and worked at and retired from Stayton Cannery. She then received her CNA license. She worked in nursing homes and then as an in-home caregiver.

Dolores loved to fish, camp and especially loved her family. She enjoyed flea markets, garage sales and Saturday markets. She would often go to Spirit Mountain Casino and play the slot machines.

She is survived by her son Rod Warren and wife Linda of Sweet Home; sisters Maxine Isabell of Sweet Home, Gertrude Lowden of North Bend, Esther Dietz of Sodaville and Joyce Greiner of Scio; and brothers Jim Morgan of Sodaville and Joe Morgan of Korea.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Cogswell; sons Edward and Ricky Warren; and sisters Margaret Duncan and Bernice Reynolds.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville.
