CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. Frances L. Boyd, 61, Clarksville, formerly of Hopkinsville,
Ky., died of natural causes Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Vanderbilt Medical
Center, Nashville, Tenn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foston Memorial Chapel. Burial will
follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the
services Tuesday at the funeral home. Additionally, family will greet friends
from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born Nov. 11, 1939. She was the daughter of
the late George Waldon and the late Effie Mae Glass Sholar and was a homemaker
and a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church, Hopkinsville.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Boyd Jr.; four sons, Donald Ray Hale,
Indianapolis, Ind., David Wayne Boyd, Tacoma, Wash., Kevin L. Boyd, Charleston,
S.C., and Eric A. Boyd, Clarksville; three daughters, Cheryl Marie Hardy,
Clarksville, Laurie Lynn White, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lisa Renee Boyd,
Middletown, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
