Born July 2, 1907 in Ogden, daughter of Sumner P. and Ada Parry Nelson. Married Lawrence E. Taylor on May 24, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; later divorced. She married Charles Russell Bradford on November 15, 1980 in Ogden. She was reared and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School. She was a head sponsor for ROTC at Ogden High. She was a member of the LDS Church, and had been active in church activities. She had worked for Defense Depot Ogden for 25 years. Had previously worked at U.P.R.R. Mrs. Bradford had been a member of the AGLAIA Club, and was a Pink Lady Volunteer for McKay-Dee Hospital for 30 years.
Survived by her husband, Ogden; four daughters, Mrs. Thair H. (Joanne) Blackburn, Ogden; Mrs. Charles W. (Jerry) Lindquist, North Ogden; Mrs. Grant J. (Shirley) Harbertson and Mrs. Ronald L. (Madge) Parker, both of Bountiful; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Heber J. (Melba) Heiner, Mrs. Beverly N. Sorensen, both of North Ogden. Preceded in death by one grandchild, one sister, and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Boulevard, with Bishop Rick E. Hinds, Ogden 83rd Ward, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 7-8 p.m., and Wednesday from 12 noon-12:45 p.m.
Interment: Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
