Born September 21, 1952, in Marshall, he was the son of Bobby J. Rogers and Ella Mae Teeter Rogers who survive of Marshall. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and worked for the Marshall Sheltered Workshop for 33 years. He attended Open Door Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include one brother, Jimmie Rogers of Marshall; one niece, Bobbie Lee Rogers Bosley and husband Bruce of Marshall; his companion, Rose Mary Norris of the home and her children, Gary Wayne Nease, Kristina Sue Otken and Joel Dean Jungels-Norris and nine grandchildren.
