Iva Jean "Ivy" Walkup, 80, of Kentland, died at 9:25 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in Crawford-Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

She was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Earl Park.

She married Bernard Wayne "Bun" Walkup on June 15, 1940, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Stan Walkup (wife: Sally) of Kentland; and five daughters, Sue Walkup of Lafayette, Carolyn Clark (husband: Dick) of Muncie, Chris Schechter of Indianapolis, Amy Alexander of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Jody Hare of Pine Village.
