Alvina Gutierrez Perez Munoz, 69, surrounded by her husband, children, brothers and friends, peacefully lost her battle with kidney disease on Feb. 27, 2003 at RTA Hospice House.

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Munoz was born March 1, 1933 in Natalia, Texas. She lived in Casa Grande since 1960 and was a cafeteria worker for the Casa Grande Elementary School District for 25 years before retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Lionicio F.; 11 children, Yolanda Munoz, of Jacksonville, Fla., Eddie Munoz, of St. Charles, Mo., Delia Atteberry, of Claremont, Calif, Hector and Armando Munoz, of Casa Grande, Oscar Munoz, of San Leandro, Calif., Enrique Munoz, of Ottumwa, Iowa, Pete Munoz, of Avondale, Ophelia Sosa, of Mesa, Steven Munoz, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Willie Munoz, of Tucson; a sister, Pat Tibball, of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Mike and Ciriaco Perez, of San Antonio and Joe Perez, of Devine, Texas; 19 grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren.
