BORGER - Funeral services for Jackie Larry Bales, 29, of Garland, a former Borger resident, were to be at 3 p.m. today in the Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. Charles Broadhurst, pastor, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Simpson Funeral Home.

Mr. Bales died Saturday morning at Baylor Hospital in Dallas following a long illness.

He moved to Garland two years ago from Borger.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna; a son, Gregory, and a daughter, Whitney, both of the family home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bonnie Bales of Borger; a brother, Freddie of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Jackie Anderson and Mrs. Kienard [sic] Hale, both of Garland, and a grandfather, John Bales of Borger.
