Anna Lovelace Bissette, 99 of Grantsboro, died May 20, 2008 at home.
Born September 21, 1908 in Knoxville, TN the daughter of Joseph B. and Lilly Buffett Lovelace. She married George C. Bissette who preceded her death.
She graduated from William & Mary and she was a Life Master in Bridge.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in New Bern and Bethany Christian Church in Arapahoe. She retired from the former Aubrey Johnson Chevrolet Dealership.
Anna is survived by one nephew Edward K. Lovelace and wife Stephanie of Virginia; three nieces, Cynthia Lovelace of Kentucky; Kathy Streepey and husband Bob of Indiana; Edna Gaston and husband Perry of North Carolina; great nieces, Debbie Roberts of North Carolina; Julie Lovelace of Florida; great nephews, Jonathan and Kyle Lovelace and Stoy and Tad Streepey.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Bobbie Wimmer.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Cotten Chapel with Dr. Steve Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at New Bern National Cemetery.
