Clifton H. Boteler, 84, of Florence, died Friday evening at St. Dominic Hospital.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Briar Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Baldwin-Enochs Funeral Home. Burial: Briar Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Smith; a brother, Bernard Boteler of Florence; and a sister, Mrs. Jewel Hamrick of Jackson.
Mr. Boteler was a native of Rankin County, attended Mississippi College and prior to his retirement, taught school in Lawrence, Cato, Fannin and Green County schools. He was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church where he was a deacon.
