Geneva Norma Gene Helderman, 71, passed from this life to her life with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10:34 A.M. while surrounded by her family.

Norma was born May 1, 1937 the daughter of Lester Paul & Mable (Malone) Cornwell in Vincennes, Indiana. She married Phillip Joseph Helderman on July 24, 1954 in Vincennes, Indiana. He survives in Christopher.

Other survivors include a son Chester Lynn Helderman and wife Tammy of Christopher. Chester's children; Roxanna Parker and her husband Charles Maker of Marion, Chester Lynn Helderman II and wife Kenya of Troy, (with his first wife Rita). Dustin Brasel, Andrew, Skyanna and Hunter Helderman of Christopher (with his second wife Tammy) Daughter Rebecca Ann Holland of Christopher, her children; Christian Trammell of Murphysboro, Raymond Helderman, Katie Murphy, Robin & Cherry Holland all of Christopher. Great Grandchild Gregory Parker of Marion. Three sisters Eunice Moeller and husband Cliffe of Marion, Donna Kidd of Marion, Devedia Terry and husband Jim of Campbell, Missouri. Two brothers Steve Cornwell and wife Joyce of ElCampo, Texas and Raymond Cornwell of Mt. Vernon, Indiana. 10 Nieces and 11 Nephews, several great nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, 4 infant children; Phillip Eugene, Tonya Darlene, Sarah Jean and Penny Arlene. A niece Twila Moeller, nephew Paul Cornwell and Sister-in-law Brenda Cornwell

She loved the Lord and was a member of the Faith United Pentecostal Church of Christopher. Rev. Ryan Thorpe will officiate the service and songs will be by her nieces Kelly Moore, Belinda Cox and Granddaughter Chrissy Trammell.

Norma loved her family, as they all loved her. She will be greatly missed by them but will remain in their hearts forever.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton.
