Mary Allen Hoffman
Mrs. Mary Allen Hoffman, 83, a longtime resident of Bartlesville, passed away Monday, September 8, at Memorial City Hospital in Houston, Texas, after a brief illness.
A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Hoffman was born in Oklahoma City on June 10, 1925 to William J. and Violet A. Hunteman. They moved to Canton, Oklahoma in 1929, where she attended school. She later attended Rogers State College in Claremore for two years.
She and Edwin D. (Ed) Hoffman were married June 21, 1950 at Ardmore, Oklahoma. They moved to Bartlesville in 1952 where Mr. Hoffman was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company until his retirement in 1983.
