He was 2nd Lt. When he got back from Europe, they moved out on the farm east of Rushville and across the road north of the Jones Cemetery. The house that made the National Register has been dismantled. Account age of the house (125) years they decided the cost involved would make it impossible to restore it. They have lived on this farm for 47 years. Tom helped Earl Jones restore the Jones Cemetery by hauling gravel and other work.
