Services were Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. New Hebron M. B. Church with the Rev. Daniel Gladney and the Rev. Sam Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home of Okolona was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include four sons, Erskine McAllister and wife, Tomoko, of Shreveport, LA., Nelson McAllister and wife, Lisa, and Ray McAllister, all of Indianapolis, Ind., and Patrick "Speedy" McAllister and wife, Carolyn, of Detroit, Mich.; Nine daughters, Oletha Manning and husband, Leon, Angie Kendricks, and Marion Evans and husband, Vincent, all of Aberdeen, Patricia Provo and husband, Lenis, of Friendswood, Texas, Jerniece Wofford and her husband, Calvin, Annie McAllister, Indinar Buford, Berniece Garth and husband, Bill, and Marie McAllister, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; four sisters, Annie Sanders of Memphis, Mildred King and Annie Seawood, both of St. Louis, and Louise Weatherly of Chicago; a brother, Odell King and his wife, Georgia King; 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; four special friends, Eardist Ware, Leoia James, Lula Pearl Wilson and Odie Whitfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erskine McAllister, Sr.
