Two Oregon Men Killed in Crash.
Winnemucca,Nev.(AP)

~ The bodies of two men were found Friday in the wreckage of their crashed single engine plane about eight miles north of Winnemucca.
The dead men were identified by sheriff's deputies as Burley W. Redifer and Oliver Dale Abney of Hermiston,Ore.

The wreckage of the plane was spotted by a Nevada Northern Gas Co. plane.
Sheriff's deputies said the crash apparently occurred sometime Thursday night.
They said the plane was in such a position as to indicate that the pilot may have attempted to land near a gas pipeline. Civil Air Patrol said the plane flipped over on it's back when it crashed, but did not appear badly damaged.
The Piper Tri-Pacer had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
The pilot Redifer and his passenger left Reno Tuesday morning after filing a flight plan to Ontario, Oregon.Inclement weather forced the men to fly by instruments.
Redifer later radioed Baker, Oregon to ask about weather at Ontario. After receiving word that Ontario Airport was socked in , he canceled his flight plan and landed in the southwest corner of Oregon at White Horse Ranch to refuel.
