Born in US Army hospital Fort Lee, Petersburg, VA and was the daughter of Clifford Leroy (Sept 5, 1988) and Marie Luzia (Whelan) Parsons,(June 6,1967) who both preceded her in death.
Preceded in death by her Uncle, Oren Myrton Frey and Aunt,Beatrice Parsons Frey, Uncle, Marvin William Arndt and Aunt, Mary Loretta Parsons Arndt
Also preceded in death by her first husband, David Allen Fry, in January 1990.
David and JoAnn were into Street Stock Racing at the old and new Tulsa Speedway for years and had lots of racing friends over the years.
She moved from Tulsa to Houston and worked for Southwest Airlines.
Survived by one brother; one son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren; other family members.
Services Friday September 5, 2008 at the Mobley Dodson Funeral Home with interment at Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs.
Jo Ann was buried 20 years to the day that her Dad, Clifford Leroy Parsons died. He is buried in the Tulsa Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
