George Benoit Dies Here in 31st Year
George F. Benoit, aged 30, well known in this city where he had always resided, died at a local hospital Thursday after an illness of two weeks. He was the son of George and the late Blanche (Guyette) Benoit. He had been employed for a number of years at the M. A. Packard Shoe Co. and was popular with his co-workers. His home was at 27 Packard street, where he resided with his sister, Mrs. John Caffrey.
He leaves his father, George Benoit; a brother, Charles of Oregon; nine sisters, Mrs. John Caffrey, Mrs. William Duffy, Mrs. John Drumgool, Mrs. Julian Cappozzi, Mrs. Charles Mabbee, Mrs. Fred Meagher, and Evelyn, Blanche, and Helen Benoit, all of this city.
The funeral will be held Sunda at the home of his sister, 27 Packard street, at 1:15 P. M., followed by services at Sacred Heart church at 2. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. High mass of requiem at church Monday mornin at 8 A. M.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for George F. Benoit of 27 Packard street at the late home, followed by services at Sacred Heart church, Rev. Leonidas Reid officiating. Interment was in Calvary cemetery and the bearers were William Dearn, Ernest McGrath, Eric O'Keefe, Peter Fortin, Leo Wise and Frank McGlone. High mass of requiem was celebrated this morning at the church.
