Susan Zimmerman Friou, 64, homemaker and registered nurse, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, surrounded by her family.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday in Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate. Interment: Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.
Susan Friou was a loving and caring wife and mother. Susan was born Aug. 25, 1943, in Cleburne to Louis and Rosemary Stouffers Zimmerman. She married Dan Friou on Jan. 2, 1962, in Fort Worth.
She graduated from Cleburne High School in 1961 and received her RN degree from TCJC in 1983. She loved photography, traveling and life. Susan is in heaven watching over her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Myrtle Zimmerman and mother, Rosemary Stouffers Zimmerman.
Survivors: Her husband, Dan of Fort Worth; son, Robert Friou and wife, Michelle, of Cleburne; daughter, Luanna Friou Robson and husband, John, of Kountze; brothers, Paul Talley and wife, Priscilla, of Cleburne and Richard Talley and wife, Bona, of Bethesda, Md.; sister, Linda Cheatley of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and granddaughter, Nature Robson.
