He was the son of William Paul and Lura (Cutlip) Skidmore. He served in the Army Air Corp and married Phyllis A. Spurgin on June 5, 1971, in Midwest City. He owned Original Sounds Productions in Choctaw and Nighthawk Record Label. He had a television show named the Sleepy Moore Show and also the Jude and Jody T.V. Show. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City as air material manager. He was a Mason, a member of the Plunkett-Hancock American Legion Post No. 180 in Hartshorne, and a member of the Oklahoma Country Music Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, and three brothers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Brumley-Mills Chapel with Pastor John Shirley officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
