Funeral services for Chester Earl Ervin, Fire Controlman 2c USNR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ervin of North Salem, who was killed in Salerno, Italy, September 11, 1943, will be held this afternoon at the Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer, Virginia. Mrs. Ervin, accompanied by her daughters, Mrs. Herbert LaFever, and husband, Mrs. James Crump, and Mrs. Robert Hicks left North Salem Tuesday to attend the services.
