Mr. Adams died at 5:40 p.m. Monday at his home.
A native of Calloway County, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard 438th Military Police Company. He was a retired boiler operator at General Tire in Mayfield. He was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church and attended Coldwater United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Estelle Hall Adams; one son, Cody Lanch Adams of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two daughters, Twila Ann Adams of Coldwater and Stacey Ellen Murdock of Lynn Grove; two brothers, Lowell Adams of Stella and Earl Adams of Mayfield; two sisters, Suda Nell Bazzell of Coldwater and Myrna Loy Rose of Murray; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Columbus Worth and Haru Castleberry Hargrove Adams.
