Professional Football Player. After graduating from the University of Oregon, he joined the Detroit Lions in 1935 and helped them win the NFL championship that year. He played end for the Lions until he was drafted in the US Army Air Corps in 1940. During his NFL career Morse played in a total of 44 games. He also played for the Los Angeles Bulldogs in the American Football League in 1939 and the Randolph Field Ramblers service football team in 1943.
