DAVIS DOROTHY E. Passed away peacefully at home in Forestville, on Dec. 20, 2002. She was born in Richmond, CA on May 21, 1908 to Wallace W. and May MacFarland. She was the sister of the late Mae Cuneo, Bill and Bob MacFarland. Her two children, Clarence Vernon of Honolulu, HI and Beverly Cooper of Nevada City, CA were raised in Alameda, CA, where she worked for many years at Listo Pencil Co. She Married Louis Davis in 1956 and lived in Southern California until 1965, when they built their home and settled in the community. Her husband died in 1989. Dorothy was an active member of the United Methodist Women's Group and a sewing circle of friends. The combined family of Dorothy and Louis consists of a son, 3 daughters, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Chapel of the Chimes, in Oakland, CA. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the United Methodist Church in Forestville on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the church, the local school or Hospice. Arrangements made by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY-SEBASTOPOL, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol, CA. (707) 829-5433.
