Jesse Lionel Bohanan, 40, of Quinton, died of cancer at Sparks Medical Center, Fort Smith, Ark, on Sunday Jan. 5. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Heaven Bound Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Meeser officiating. Burial was in Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Merritt Funeral Service of Eufaula. Pallbearers were Ricky Turpin, Vincent Denny, Ray Turpin, Joe McIntyre, Colin Bohanan and Calvin Bohanan. Honorary pallbearers were Donny Clayton, Anthony Turpin, Arnold Adcock and Johnny Denny.
Mr. Bohanan was born May 15, 1956. He was employed by Glover Construction in Muskogee and was a member of Heaven Bound Free Will Baptist Church. He married Genea Dec. 23, 1987 . Survivors include his wife, Genea, of the home; four children.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Silas William Bohanan, grandmother Altie (Miller) Bohanan, and grandfather, Jessie Bush.
