Heart Attack Is Fatal To Man, 55

Ambers G. Bright Dies Late Yesterday Afternoon

Ambers G. Bright, 55, residing at 1508 North D street, died suddenly at his home at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

He was returning to his home from his employment at the National Trailer Corporation when he was stricken. Dr. Merle Hoppenrath, deputy coroner, is investigating the cause of the death.

The deceased was born July 11, 1885, in Tipton county, the son of Winfield and Martha Bright.

On July 22, 1905, he was married to Pearl Porter.

Mr. Bright was superintendent of the Sunday School at the Nazarene Church, where he was a member.

He was employed at the Carnegie Illinois Steel Corporation prior to receiving employment at the trailer factor.

Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Violet, of Indianapolis, Florence, at home; six sons, Harry and Charles, of Gary, Rev. Joseph Bright, of Yorktown, Merle, of Kankakee, Ill., Verle, and Ambers, Jr., at home; two brothers, Samuel of Elwood, and Oliver, of Columbus; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Smith, Mrs. Fred Schrock, Mrs. Ellen Jones, and Mrs. Clara Crull, all of Elwood, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene. Rev. R.E. Elzey, pastor, will be in charge, assisted by Rev. F.E. Cole, of Indianapolis. Burial will be made in the city cemetery.

Ambers G. Bright, age 55, of 1508 North D street, Elwood, fell dead in an alley near his home at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday. He had returned home from his employment at the National Trailer factory and was doing some chores at his home when stricken suddenly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene in Elwood for Ambers G., age 55, who dropped at his home in Elwood Wednesday.

Mr. Bright was a native of Tipton having been born July 11, 1885, the son of Winfield and Martha Bright.

On July 22, 1905, he was married to Pearl Porter.

Survivors include two daughters, Violet of Indianapolis, and Florence at home; Harry and Charles of Gary, Rev. Joseph Bright of Yorktown, Merle of Kankakee, Ill., Verl and Ambers Jr. at home, all sons and the widow.
