A viewing for a former Lebanon man who died Sunday night while changing a flat tire will be held Wednesday evening. Daniel Bauch, 1009 Market St., Harrisburg, died after apparently suffering a heart attack while changing a flat tire at a closed service station on Route 322 in Swatara Township, Dauphin County. He was 75. Police were called after a motorist noticed the jacked-up vehicle on the lot after passing there twice in two hours. When police arrived, they discovered Bauch's body. He reportedly had been visiting his brother, William in Annville. After driving his daughter, Miss Mary Jane Blauch, to her home in Harrisburg, he was driving home when the flat tire occurred. Born in Steelstown, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Daniel and Mary Rhine Blauch. His wife, Bessie Hartman Blauch, died in 1941. He was a retired watchman for a firm in Harrisburg. Surviving are four sons, Lloyd R., Harrisburg; Lester W., Halifax RD1, and Daniel E. and Richard M., both of Camp Hill; two daughters, Beulah, wife of Lester Horst, Middletown, and Mary Jane; two brothers, William, Annville, and John, Elk Mills, Md.; two sisters, Lillian, wife of William Kreiser, Annville, and Mrs. Jennie Flowers, Hershey; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
