HARPER A. CLARK, Jr. 'Buddy' Harper A. 'Buddy' Clark, Jr., 80 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL. Born in West Palm Beach, FL on December 30, 1927, he was a graduate of Palm Beach High School, Class of 1946 and attended the University of Florida. Mr. Clark graduated from the General Motors Institute; and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the United States Army. He operated the Clark Oldsmobile Dealership in West Palm Beach from 1961 until 1988,(before that is was Clark Warwick Oldsmobile and was owned and run by his father Harper Almond Clark, Sr and my grandfather Harvey Shannon Warwick) and he served on the Oldsmobile National Dealer Council. Harper was an active member of his community where he was a Past President of the Chamber of Commerce; Director of the YMCA; member of the Foundation Board of Trustees at Florida Atlantic University; Director of Family Council Services; member and Past President of the Tuscawilla Club; member of St. Mary's Advisory Board; member of YPO; member and Past President of the Sailfish Club of Florida; and a member and Senior Warden of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. He loved his God, family and friends, and his beloved town of West Palm Beach. Harper enjoyed the outdoors and was a long-standing member of the Melbourne Hunting and Fishing Club. He is survived by the 'Love of his life' of 54 years, Nancie; three sons, Harper and his wife Vicki, Wayne and his wife Nancy, and Gray and his wife Leslie; and four precious granddaughters, Victoria 'Tori', Catherine 'Catie', Caroline, and Wrennie. Additional survivors include his sister, Pat Clark; four nieces, Victoria, Elizabeth, Ann and Becky; and one nephew, John. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 211 Trinity Place, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, with The Rev. David R. Wilt, Rector, officiating. The family will receive friends in fellowship immediately following the Service. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in Buddy's memory to: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church; the Treasure Coast Hospice 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997; or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. He was my cousin, and the second sweetest man I ever had the honor of being related to...I will always treasure him and the memory of when he walked me down the aisle at my wedding....I love you "Buddy" and miss you terribly
