CHURCH HILL - James Adam Helton, 35, of Church Hill, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, (March 22, 2006) at his home.

James was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. He was a graduate of ETSU and was employed by AFG Industries.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Buck and Lena Barbour and paternal grandparents, Adam and Mary Helton.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Barbour Helton, Church Hill; his father and step mother, Jimmy Kyle and Barbara Helton, Bean Station; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Daniela Helton, Surgoinsville; special niece and nephew, Britney and Darren Helton; two step brothers, Dennis and Glenn Mallicoat; step sister, Janice Perry; several aunts and uncles.

Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence of his mother, 461 Barrett Lane, Church Hill.

Services will be conducted Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ken Christian and the Rev. Pete Barbour officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
