Lillian Elizabeth Cummins April 29, 1905 - Oct. 30, 1996 Lillian Cummins, 91, of Salem died Wednesday. Born in Marcus, Iowa, she moved to Salem in 1930 and owned Cummins Care Home for many years.
She was the oldest and longest attending member of Faith Temple Church. Her husband David L. died in 1974.
Survivors include daughter, Ruby Drennan Zetterbeg, of Salem; step-daughters, Clara Gooden of Salem, and Lois Stenberg of Sweet Home; sons, Donald L. Hill and Harold L. Cummins, both of Salem, and Clifford J. Hill of Albany; stepson, David Cummins of Lebanon, brother George E. Porter of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visiting will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, and services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, both in Barrick mortuary. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
