Cornelia Maury Adams
A funeral service was held Sunday at 12 p. m. in Calvary Episcopal Church here for Mrs. Cornelia Maury Turner Adams who died Friday in Wytheville, Va. at the 88. Mrs. Adams was the widow of George Adams of Front Royal, Charlottesville and Staunton. She was born and reared in Front Royal, the daughter of the late Robert H. Turner who occupied the bench of the 17th Judicial Circuit for 25 years.
Surviving are two sons, George Turner Adams of Jacksonville, Fla. and John S. Adams of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. P. F. Walker of Wytheville, Va., Mrs. E. C. Ayre of Richmond, Mrs. K. C. McPhail of Williamston, Mich, and Miss Webb Adams of Baltimore; hnd one brother, Philip W. Turner of Front Royal and Washington,|D. C.
The Rev. F. G. Weber conducted the service. Burial followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
